Capua is preparing to celebrate Carnival 2025 , now in its 138th edition , with a rich program of events from February 27 to March 4. The streets of the historic center will be filled with masks, confetti, parades and shows , in a celebration dedicated to joy and tradition .
The program of events
🎭 Thursday 27 February – Official opening
📍 4:00 pm – Meeting in via Napoli between the people and the King and Queen of the Carnival
🎭 Procession with allegorical floats, masked groups and street bands from all over Italy
🔑 6:30 pm – Piazza dei Giudici – Delivery of the keys of the city to the Carnival King by the mayor
🎶 Musical DJ set in Piazza dei Giudici
🎭 Friday 28 February and Monday 3 March
🚛 Parade of allegorical floats along Corso Appio
🎭 Saturday 1st March – Carnival of Santangiolese
📍 Sant’Angelo in Formis – Party and entertainment for the little ones
